Recent scientific research shows that for better health you should protect yourself from the harsh, toxic effects of free chlorine in your shower water. It is known that inhalation exposures may be up to 10 times as significant as ingestion or absorption, due to chemicals evaporating out of the water. Chlorine is also know to chemically bond to protein, leaving hair and skin dry and brittle, as well as eyes red and irritated.

The H2O Rio Vita shower filter is designed with an electron exchange media know as KDF®, that will remove about 99% of free chlorine and control bacteria, algae and mold growth. In addition to leaving your skin softer, your hair more manageable and your eyes less irritated, this unique filter will protect our environment's most precious resource - water. It is recommended that this shower filter be fitted with a "water-saver" shower head that will restrict the flow to a maximum 2.5 gallons per minute (gpm) flow rate.
